After several years of painting with experienced painters Ronnie Orwig made the bold decision to branch out on his own. In 1998, he founded Orwig’s Fine Finishing where he focused on new construction and commercial painting. He successfully ran the company with a small crew and was well known throughout York and Adams County. During the summer of 2021 while helping his brother-in-law, Troy Engle, with a complete home renovation, the two talked about the difficulties in finding experienced contractors that were consistent and trustworthy. It was in that moment they decided to expand Orwig’s Fine Finishing with a focus on the golden rule: treat others the way we want to be treated. That means we strive to be on-time, friendly, and deliver the high-quality experience you deserve.

Ronnie Orwig has been painting for over 30 years. He is married to his wonderful wife Wende with three children and one grandchild. His hobbies include Sprint Car Racing with his son Dylan and Orwig Motorsports, fishing, and spending time with his grandson Crue. Ronnie enjoys difficult projects that make him find creative solutions.

Troy Engle is a retired police officer and Iraq War Veteran. Troy is married to his fantastic wife Jessica who leads their real estate team. Together they have four children, a dog, cat, pony, goat, and too many chickens to count. His hobbies are hunting, coaching volleyball, and spending time with his family. Troy enjoys helping the people around him succeed and mentoring young adults.
